Jean Zimmelman is the owner of the Beverly Loan Company, a high-end pawn shop in Los Angeles. In February of 2002, she told the New York Times the store of the time she gave an actress a $10,000 loan in exchange for a bra that was encrusted with diamonds and rubies. Who was the actress? “Discretion is our business,” Zimmelman told the paper.
